December 2006 ~ Will

Over the past year I have shared a series of poems based on the teaching of the Twelve Powers. The complete series of “Power Pages” is available in the Janet’s Jottings file of this website. In addition to this month’s page, I have included a special writing on Love.

“The will is the center in mind and body around which revolve all the activities that constitute consciousness. It is the avenue through which the I AM expresses its potentiality.” Revealing Word, pages 209.210

What is this Highest Good,
this God’s Will
that we seek and yet find hard to know?
What is this seeming Fate,
encoded into our universal destiny
and the core of every little life?

Is there such an end?
Or are we facing in the wrong direction,
looking for a result,
rather than for a reason?
Ah! Now something begins to sing ~
not Will, but Willing!
This is the truer telling.

We need not know
nor even guess
the ultimate Grand Design ~
but only trust our knowing
that it is Good
and
predisposed to our benefit.

We need not fear
nor even praise
the ultimate Will of God ~
but only surrender ourselves
to the sure path ~
the path that begins
with
being willing.

“…yet, not my will but yours be done.” Luke 22:42

Affirmation: I am willing to be all that God has created me to be!

The Power of Fulfillment


Love and Life become Creativity.

Love and Release become Purity.

Love and Strength become Courage.

Love and Judgment become Wisdom.

Love and Order become Harmony.

Love and Power become Healing.

Love and Zeal become Passion.

Love and Faith become Trust.

Love and Imagination become Beauty.

Love and Understanding become Compassion.

Love and Will become Surrender.


Only Love Prevails
