January 2006 ~ Life

One of my recent self-assignments has been to write a series of poems based on the 12 Powers. I have decided to share one of these poems each month during this year of 2006. Combined with a quote from Charles Fillmore’s writings, scripture, and affirmation, I hope you will find these “Power Pages” interesting and inspiring. Happy New Year!

More than sunrise and sunset,
high noon and midnight,
More than seconds and minutes and hours,
More than birth and growth
and even death,
Life is.

More than hoping and dreaming,
wishing and trusting,
More than visions seen and plans fulfilled,
More than work and play
and even prayer,
Life is.

Life is the force
that moves upon the darkness
and calls forth Light.
Life is the force
that breathes and births creation
and calls it Good.

Life was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be.

Life has no equal.
Life has no opposite.
Life has no adversary.

Life is.
